Guest Friendly Hotels
Allmost all hotels in Pattaya are friendly towards overnight guest stay. But some Hotels will try to set up the so called ‘Joiner Fee’ which is sometimes up to 1000 Baht a night!
But be aware, that you book the hotel for 2 persons. Eventually the breakfast rate will be added in some occasions, depending on the hotel.
Common is that you give the ID-card of your trophy of the night to the reception. And that if your guest leaves, you go downstairs, or ring the reception that your guest likes to take ID card back.
All of this is to ensure that nothing in your room gets taken, without you knowing it. In the past there where some problems where sleeping pills where used in drinks with the outcome that tourists pockets got emptied out…..
